While the original MEYLE Platinum rotors are made to meet the German/European G3000 standards, the
MEYLE UV HC rotors go above and beyond meeting the GG15HC high carbon content standard, which
adds stability in high heat producing circumstances, very aggressive driving, and heavier vehicles.
There are two main reasons to use higher carbon content rotors:
1. The higher carbon content stands out with its
thermal stability and damping behavior.
2. The higher carbon content rotors are less prone
to warping due to improved heat dissipation
and an increase in torsional stiffness. e.g. on heavy platforms.

Made of high carbon steel, the all new MEYLE UV Coated, High Carbon (HC), brake discs
are built to last, with enhanced durability, improved damping behavior, and thermal stability.
As a result, noise and vibrations are reduced in everyday traffic, as well as under more

Thanks to a new UV coating process, the lacquer thickness of each MEYLE UV HC brake
disc surface is enhanced, reinforcing anti-corrosion protection in the most vulnerable areas.
